SpaceDev, PlanetSpace, t/Space, Spacehab, and SpaceX will vie for the $174.7 million in NASA Commercial Orbital Transportation Services [COTS] Project with the applications deadline last week with a February NASA decision looming. SpaceX was previous awarded $278-million. Rocketplane-Kistler [RpK] expended $32.1-million of its initial award of $207-million prior to its COTS contract termination by NASA.
