UPDATE: Space shuttle Atlantis' rollout to Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida has been rescheduled to begin at 4 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 31, as preparations for the STS-125 mission move forward.
With STS-119 Discovery mission complete, all eyes are now turning to the launch of space shuttle Atlantis for the STS-125 the final Hubble Telescope Servicing Mission 4 set for launch from the Kennedy Space Center on May 12, 2009 as now scheduled. Over 11 days and five spacewalks, the shuttle Atlantis’ crew will make repairs and upgrades to the telescope, leaving it better than ever and ready for another five years – or more – of research.
