The Russian Soyuz TMA-14 has launched to orbit and is now preparing to dock with the International Space Station following the departure of the space shuttle Discovery this week following the installation of new solar panels.The crew of the International Space Station and the Discovery astronauts spoke with President Barack Obama this week prior to the planned landing of the space shuttle later today.
