Soyuz TMA-14 Readied for March 25

Russian Soyuz TMA-14 commander Gennady Padalka, American NASA astronaut Michael Barratt, flight engineer, and Virginia-based Space Adventures tourist Charles Simonyi are being readied for a March 25 space launch to the international space station from Kazakhstan [UPDATE].

An American billionaire businessman and software engineer, Simonyi will become the first-ever space tourist to travel to the ISS twice paying a reported $60-million to Space Adventures for both flights. His first flight was in April 2007. [video]

Simonyi told Russia Today, "I don’t think that this flight is going to be difficult, with this wonderful crew that I’m flying with. I feel very quiet and prepared. I’m just waiting for the launch."
