Roscosmos in the 21st Century: The Next Decade of Russian Space Planning
Roscosmos has a decades long plan on the agenda of exploring space. The new plan includes a new Russian-based spaceport or cosmodrome, new space telescopes, new Soyuz cooperation with the European Space Agency with at least fifty launches planned from French Guiana alone, new nuclear spacecraft propulsion systems for deep space exploration, new earth science and navigation systems, and asteroid exploration and impact mitigation in cooperation with the United Nations. Russia is also seeking international cooperation for a human mission to Mars.
