Proton-M/Briz-M to Launched This Evening

A Russian-made Proton-M/Briz-M rocket to launch Luch-5B and Yamal-300K satellites from Baikonur Cosmodrome in the desert steppe of Kazakhstan.

 

As of summer of 2012, the launch was expected at the end of September - beginning of October, but it had to be postponed from Sept. 8 by the Proton rocket failure in August. By the beginning of October, the mission was re-scheduled for November 3, 2012.
