Russian Meteor Impact Simulation Created

AGI aerospace engineers have used our Systems Tool Kit (STK) software to create a simulation based on publically available information showing the trajectory of the meteor striking in the Russian Ural Mountantins, as well as the trajectory of asteroid 2012 DA14, which had a close approach today.

Note that the simulation uses the published Meteosat 9 images, which captured the meteor's contrails, to help locate the approximate path of the meteor. This analysis supports and explains in 3D the announcements by NASA and ESA that the meteor was unrelated to 2012 DA 14.
